Healium Decoration is engaged with light technology, video projection and stage effects since 2012. The three-member group is a regular at local goa and techno parties, created special showpieces for clubs and festivals like R33, Dürer kert, Corvin tető, Művelődési Szint and Sziget Festival. Next to the spectacular light installations, for two years Healium Decoration has been actively involved in software development that can offer a new perspective in real-time 3D light control. Healium Lightformer applies visual programming and has a modular system architecture that can easily handle multiple tasks and complex linkage.
The platform is also agnostic to PAR lamps, moving heads, strobes, smoke and fume machines, kinetics or any other DMX compatible devices. Interaction is also part of the concept, the software supports MIDI and OSC, Kinect, Leap Motion integration and even sensors.
For Demo Day, Healium Decoration produced the full series of Platonic solids to demonstrate how the program works on self-contained, yet beautiful three-dimensional geometric bodies. IIn three-dimensional space, a Platonic solid is a regular, convex polyhedron. It is constructed by congruent regular polygonal faces with the same number of faces meeting at each vertex. Five solids meet those criteria: tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, icosahedron (Wikipedia).
