SaveSarah is a proprietary software that aims to assist disaster response teams to mobilize at a faster pace by sharing information. We applied at KiBu’s Talent Program to develop an application that enables movement tracking of larger groups in real time. Upon logging in the SaveSarah application or with the use of a GPS sender device, the team leader and other members are able to transmit their location data to the SaveSarah central server, thus sharing and logging movement in real time. Data are offered to be shared by team members and to be saved for further analysis.

The software has a number of beneficial features. It helps to gain intelligence on people lost by the optimization of search paths and by rendering multiple explorations superfluous. The application also guarantees that there is no territory left undetected and the efficacy of rescue teams can be increased by evaluating data at a next stage.
